The Stone by the Door is a tale of two, and a result of combined ideas and gestures. Adapted from a Moroccan folktale embodying the ease and motion that comes with working together, the story of The Stone by the Door reflects collective creativity, and designs inspired by our interaction with the life of objects. TSBTD was founded in friendship by Meya Tazi and Meryem Benyahya who crossed paths in London while studying Architecture at Central Saint Martins. They tell stories through hand-made pieces and their materials, with a focus on local craftsmanship in Morocco.  The two together have created sculptural creatures to be loved on, looked at, and welcomed home by.
